Alpha Celebration Dinner/Taste of Alpha Dinner, April 4, 6:30-8:30PM

Alpha is a warm place where people can freely explore the basics of the Christian faith together.  We have a nice meal, watch a talk, make some new friends and talk about things that matter. The“Taste of Alpha”is a free dinner where people can learn more about Alpha and see if it might be right for them. RSVP:  or 616.394.5500.  Childcare is available.  Youth Group will NOT be meeting on 4/4/18 due to Spring Break.

The Alpha Course begins Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at 6:30pm and runs 9 weeks.  People are welcome to come check it out during the first two weeks.  Childcare and Youth group will be available during the course.

Youth Group, Wednesdays 6:30-8:30PM in the Multipurpose Room at LVC

Youth Group will NOT be meeting March 28 or April 4, 2018 but will resume on April 11, 2018.  At Youth Group we have fun together, worship together, learn together, and do ministry together… because at LVC we are better together!   All youth 6th -12th grade are welcome to join us!  Contact Youth Leader Adam Louks at with questions or if you’d like to get involved.

You Can Make a Difference!  Bring in Clothes and Books and Help Foster Families!

The 6th-8th grade class has made four collection boxes as a tie in with the lessons they've had about missions and the early church. The boxes are marked with underwear, socks, pajamas and books and are located under the gridwall in the lobby. The items collected will be donated to the Mosaic Clothing Closet. Typically when a child comes into foster care no clothing is provided.  With so much to do the first month, having the clothes closet provides a lot of help for foster families.  Clothes must be in new (or gently used) condition for the mosaic clothing closet. Gently used books are also welcome.

Healing Night, Tuesday,  April 17, 6:30-8:00PM

School of Power and Love, June 13-16, Deltaplex, Grand Rapids

Schools of Power and Love were birthed out of the vision to see the Church of Jesus Christ catch hold of its inheritance to win the lost, as Paul says, “in demonstration of the Spirit and of power” (I Cor 2:4 NAS).  Robby Dawkins and Todd White will be coming to lead this equipping conference.

Opportunities to Serve

Lakeshore Vineyard is an "all-play" church meaning we desire a community where everyone benefits because everyone contributes. We believe that's how both churches and individuals thrive and grow. With that in mind, we'd like to ask you to look over the following service opportunities and see if there's one you'd like to try out. If so, let us know at and we can set up a time for you to "job shadow" an experienced person in that role to see if would be a good fit.

Office Volunteers Needed

We are looking for people who can regularly devote a few or more hours to help in the church office.  Tasks include filing, sorting, making copies, writing emails and answering phones.  Call 394.5500 or email to talk to Kim Nyland about these positions.

Sunday Opportunities:

  • Power Point Technician
  • Sound Technician
