LVC KIDS this summer:

Summer is a great time to give our regular leaders in children's ministry a much needed break, and to change things up for our kids!  Beginning in June, children in K-4th grade will remain in the worship center for part of the service.  After worship, we will dismiss them for multi-age activities for the remainder of the service.  Care centers will be staffed for those ages 0-2, as well as the ark room for ages 2-4.

Youth Group

At Youth Group we have fun together, worship together, learn together, and do ministry together… because at LVC we are better together!  All youth 6th -12th grade are welcome to join us!  Contact Youth Leader Adam Louks at with questions or if you’d like to get involved.

We will be meeting over the summer for outreaches and for fun events.

LVC Summer on Mission: Potlucks in the Park

Sundays: July 1, 29 and August 26 immediately after the church service.

We are taking our Courtyard Picnics beyond the church!  LVC supplies the main meat dish and we all bring the potluck dishes as we meet in a community park.

Membership Luncheon, July 15, 11:45AM

This gathering is designed for anyone who wants to learn more about Lakeshore Vineyard.  Pastor Ken leads this discussion which covers the five core Vineyard Values, the vision and mission of Lakeshore Vineyard and an explanation of membership.  There is no obligation to join Lakeshore Vineyard and this is a great opportunity to ask

questions and get to know Pastor Ken and his wife, Robin. Youth aged 16 and up are encouraged to attend and to explore church membership. Call the office at 616.394.5500 to sign up today!

Opportunities to Serve

Lakeshore Vineyard is an "all-play" church meaning we desire a community where everyone benefits because everyone contributes. We believe that's how both churches and individuals thrive and grow. With that in mind, we'd like to ask you to look over the following service opportunities and see if there's one you'd like to try out. If so, let us know at and we can set up a time for you to "job shadow" an experienced person in that role to see if would be a good fit.

Office Volunteers Needed

We are looking for people who can regularly devote a few or more hours to help in the church office.  Tasks include filing, sorting, making copies, writing emails and answering phones.  Call 394.5500 or email to talk to Kim Nyland about these positions.

Sunday Opportunities:

  • Power Point Technician
  • Sound Technician

Looking for a Way to Bless Our Children's Ministry Director???

Volunteer one Sunday or more in our Care Centers (ages 0-2) or our Ark Room (ages 2-4).  Contact Heather Swier at or call 616.394.5500 today!
