What's Happening in Children's Ministry

2's and 3's: This month we are learning about the story of Easter.

PreK & Kindergarten: This spring we will be learning about the miracles of Jesus.

1st-5th grades: We are looking at the life of Jesus.  This month we are focusing on the early part of his healing ministry.  You can find parent notes for each week’s lesson and memory verse on our website. We are also challenging the kids to read Matthew 14-16.

Easter Sunday:  We will have the Care Center and Ark Room open, but children 5 years old and up will be staying with their parents for our family service.

We invite God to come and minister to us spontaneously through the entire service. Hosted by the School of Kingdom Ministry and the LVC Worship Team.

Healing Night, Tuesday, April 16 , 6:30-8:00PM

Invite your family, friends, co-workers and neighbors to this night when we offer prayer for physical, emotional, relational and spiritual healing.  See our Healing Nights page on our website for more information.

Good Friday Service, April 19, 7PM

Join us for this service of scripture and song as we remember the

passion of Jesus Christ and observe communion together.  Children are welcome, no childcare is provided for this hour long service.

Baptisms, Easter Sunday, April 21

We believe that all believers are commanded by our Lord Jesus to be baptized. Baptism is an outward statement that we, in faith, are

crucified and buried with Christ (symbolized as we go under the water) and are raised to new life in Him (symbolized as we rise from the water).  We encourage individuals to seek to be baptized as soon as possible after trusting Jesus as their Lord and Savior, as a public statement of their decision.  The Biblical command is that as soon as we believe, we should be baptized.  (Acts 2:38) Call the church office at 616.394.5500 to sign up today.. Baptism class will take place on the Saturday morning before Easter at 11AM in room 2.

“Taste of Alpha” Dinner, Wednesday April 24, 6:30-8:30PM

Get Involved

Lakeshore Vineyard is an "all-play" church meaning we desire a community where everyone benefits because everyone contributes. We believe that's how both churches and individuals thrive and grow. With that in mind, we'd like to ask you to look over the following service opportunities and see if there's one you'd like to try out. If so, let us know at jerih@lakeshorevineyard.org and we can set up a time for you to "job shadow" an experienced person in that role to see if would be a good fit.
